About me
Kira Karbowski is the artist behind KcK Illustration. She is a born and raised Californian from the Bay Area. Her work ranges from concept design to traditional painting. From 2013 to 2019 she was the main concept artist for California's Great America and other Cedar Fair Parks. She has done designs for costume, characters, sets, and props for Shows, Halloween Haunt, and Winter-fest. In 2018 she graduated from the Academy of Art University with a Bachelors in Fine Arts in Illustration. Currently working as an Art instructor for Bottle and Bottega it wasn't until her beloved cat Ranger passed away did she find her love of painting pets. Kira wants her work to not only capture the eye but to also enthrall the viewer and bring about emotion. She has always looked for magic in the world and has found that magic in art.
